The “Casa das Artes” performig arts centre is a multi-purpose building that, by respecting the alignment of the surrounding streets and burying part of its largest auditorium so that its height matches the context, contributes to consolidate the rather weak urban tissue.

Two volumes (Auditoria, School of Music and Dance) linked by a large triangular covered square-hall that can be divided in up to three indepent smaller halls, allowing for a great flexibility of use.
